Pickled beets and eggs



A favorite treat and after school snack:

-Hard boil 1/2 dozen eggs and place in large container. Combine:

1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 can red beets

Let sit overnight, and let the feasting begin.
